National University Cohort 65

Hey Y’all!
I had to push back my application date to this cohort! I have yet to take my TEAS test, but my GPA is a 3.3 currently. Glad to “meet you all”

that’s how they will calculate your admission points.

last cohort cutoff was 88 points.

I've seen that on the nursing packet they emailed me. But it doesn't explain how to they calculate the points. Here's what I found from cohort 59 thread. Please verify if this is correct.

TEAS 40%: (0.TEAS score) *40

ex: 94.4 TEAS = (0.944*40) = 37.76 points

GPA 40%: 4.0 would be 40 points, 3.9 = 39 points. 3.65, = 36.5 points etc

Cramming for my TEAS on 7/23 to submit for Cohort 65. Would love to know what last minute resources people have found useful.

Been using ATI prep and practice test just wondering anything else out there to make sure I am prepared.

There is a facebook group called ATI TEAS 6 study group which is super helpful as they post a bunch of study material and resources. I’ve heard the Youtube videos of “Science with Susanna” helps! What’s your GPA?

Combined GPA is 3.45.

NU GPA 3.85

Actually didn’t you take your exam today? How did it go?? And where do you see those GPAs?

Had an advisor send me this.

I did take it today. I thought I did well overall 77.3. But I'm intimidated by the average scored of the prior cohorts.

Does anyone know the turnaround time for the online proctored exam score to be shared with the school. Could an exam score from an 8/11 be provided by the deadline of 8/21?

@cecronin84 I've been told 2-3 day turn around. But at the completion of your test did it ask you to send the transcripts to NU?

I believe you can take it the day before the deadline and it would still submit in time.... but please ask an advisor and don’t take my word for it. Also, I think they only look at science GPA, not combined GPA for nursing admission, right? And hey who knows, maybe this cohort will have a lower average than the one before LOL
