National University Cohort 62 San Diego

Updated:   Published

Just wanted to make a thread for aspiring nurses who are applying to cohort 62 at National University in San Diego!

That is what I thought the process would be like. Good lookin out!

Oof. I'm kinda worrying right now.

My counselor hasn't updated me on whether or not National has reviewed all my transcripts. And the Application date is on friday.

Im pretty sure you can check for yourself ?. try opening the nursing application from SOAR and select this cohort. The next page should have a list of all the prereqs with their respective grade and some sort of checkmark that represents whether it's fulfilled or not. Don't worry about opening the application and closing out of it (I have done it several times lol). Hope that helps!

Haha, oops.

Good luck everyone!

The minimum GPA of 2.75 is cumulative like the overall GPA for all pre reqs. But when applying they only take your math and science GPA as part of the point system. If your cumulative GPA is less than 2.75 you cannot apply.

I’m applying to cohort 62 as well! I’m really hoping for an interview ???? How did you guys study for the English portion for the teas? That was my lowest score and what really messes me up!

Are you planning on retaking it because the deadline for cohort 62 is today!

Maybeanursingstudent no I’m not retaking it, I was wondering how you guys studied for the teas. I’m just hoping for the best to get an interview and accepted!

Ohhhh ok. I think you will get an interview as long as your gpa and teas are competitive!

I should have studied English more too. I think more practice questions would have helped. I really only used the Carolyn McAllister videos and some notes from the Momentrix book. I mainly focused on science and my results show that. I would have taken it one more time but the testing center was booked. I ended up with an 82.7. Initially I thought I had no chance at all but I figured I should at least try. Good luck to us all! I'll be posting on here if I get an interview. Hopefully we will hear sooner than last cohort did.

What would be considered competitive for the GPA and TEAS?
