Just wanted to make a thread for aspiring nurses who are applying to cohort 62 at National University in San Diego!

I will be applying to this cohort and will be taking my teas on Monday! Nervous but feeling good about it!

Hi, I just finished one of my classes too & grades have been posted already. I asked my advisor & she said you don’t have to do anything else. I would just check if your BST 322 is in the list when you do your application

Thank you! Yes, I also emailed advising and they said the grade would automatically be posted in the Nursing Application since the BST 322 class is an NU class

Hi guys, I'm applying to cohort 62! just took my teas and got a 85.7, thinking about retaking to get a higher score. Any tips? also how do you calculate your overall score (TEAS and Grades)?

Hi, that's a really good TEAS score! It really depends on your GPA stats in my opinion.

To calculate your score you take your (TEAS score/100)*(40%). To calculate your GPA score its (GPA/4)*(40%). You add the two totals and divide by 80 to see your overall score just for TEAS and GPA.

Hi all.
just wanted to say good luck to everyone.

I just took my TEAS yesterday; I ended up getting a 85.3.
Do you think I should retake to test for a better score considering how close the deadline is?

Hi, I’m retaking the TEAs a few days before the deadline. When I sent my scores, they received it the next day

Sorry, new to this.
How do you send your scores to NU?

And if I remember, we’re able to send multiple scores and they’ll choose the highest one correct?

It’s fine, I’m sure other people have the same questions too! There’s a $27 fee to send to other schools & there’s a drop down box where you choose “National U San Diego” and then it should send it. I emailed the nursing department to see if they received it just in case

also, do you know if we’re able to send multiple scores?
or will I have to choose my best one if I decide to retake it.

I'm sure you can send multiple scores & they'll take the best one. Personally, I would wait until the last TEAs (if you choose to retake) to send the scores since it's $27 each time

Yeah after thinking about it, that seems more financially logical.

after seeing those orientation fees, I’ll take whatever I can save.
