Just wanted to make a thread for aspiring nurses who are applying to cohort 62 at National University in San Diego!

Hi guys, I applied to the last cohort & got denied & reapplied to this cohort. I’m not sure if this is going to happen again, but I waited more than a week after the deadline. It was so stressful and we weren’t getting updates, so I really had to learn to be patient lol. I think it was less than a month though, so it’s a lot faster than previous cohorts. I noticed a lot of people started interacting more in the forum after the deadline. im hoping we all can get in Too

Good luck this time around! You mind me asking what your score and gpa were/is? I did myself a disservice and didn't take the TEAS early enough, well really I didn't start studying soon enough. I got an 82.7 which isnt too bad but I'm afraid not competitive enough. Hoping my Gpa will bring up my overall score enough to get me an interview. Did you interview last cohort? I am trying to not hope too high but I figured I might as well try. Fingers crossed. If not then I know I gotta go back and get a higher TEAS.

Did you make it to interviews?

Hi. So I stalked the last cohort board and read what others had to say about the interview. It's two people who interview often asking questions like why do you want to be a nurse and things along those lines. They both score you and they take the average between the scores. I believe similar to how they scored the essay out of 5 points total.

Hi all, just finished up my first attempt at TEAS and got an 82.7. Not what I had hoped for but I'm hoping with a 4.0 I might make the cut for the interviews. There weren't anymore slots available to retake the TEAS other wise I would have. I thought I did great on the math portion until I got my results. What were everyone else's scores?
