National University Cohort 62 San Diego

Just wanted to make a thread for aspiring nurses who are applying to cohort 62 at National University in San Diego!

I was told from NU that it would be a week after the deadline, but I am guessing it will be closer to 2-3 weeks after the application deadline.

So i applied to cohort 61 and went through the whole process and was selected as an alternate. Bummer. Anyways... our deadline was on a Monday August 19th... and we received our interview invites on the following week on Wednesday August 29th. So probably anywhere between tomorrow or early next week would be my guess.

Can you tell us where you received your email? Through the NU email or personal? And good luck this time around, to all of us.

The NU email was not "official" yet at that time so I received it on my personal email.

@maybeanursingstudent just out of curiosity. When you got your interview email for cohort 61, did you get to choose what interview date to attend? Or do they give you one specific date?

Hoping we hear soon or by early next week.

I think it was @maybeanursingstudent that was an alternate, but I was wondering if as an alternate did you get to do the interview?

Yes. If you’re selected for an interview (top90) then after your interview you’re either accepted, denied, or an alternate

They tell you the day and time and you have no choice in the matter at all. I had to take work off.

just got an interview email! they are interviewing so soon! mine is next wednesday!
