National University BSN Program

Published

the anticipation is killing me!! after working hard for 2 years i finally completed my application to national university for their Accelerated BSN program. i took the teas 5 just over a week ago and am expecting my acceptance/rejection letter during the first week of june. even though it is just 3 weeks away, it seems like a lifetime! if i am accepted i will be joining the october 2011 cohort. anyone else going to nu during this time?

Any information on the selection process would be very helpful. How to I figure out my GPA score based on core prereps?

I am currently taking Bio Stats Online and it's not too difficult as long as you know a little excel and have time for LOTS of reading. This is my final week and then its on to the Information Literacy, which is my final requirement to apply in October for the April 2012 cohort. Are you also applying?

Hi! Thank you so much for the info on the online bio med stats class! I am taking anatomy and physio online now, then biomed stats, then info lit. I have a few more other classes for my bachelors, so I will be applying in June for the January 2013 cohort. But I am taking the TEAS in January. Have you taken it or do you plan to take it after you apply? Trying to figure out a study plan. Are you at the SD National???? I have a friend who is applying this March for the July Cohort. I just want to begin the program already! ;):nurse:

Let me know what you think~

Hey, I just applied for cohort 30. Starting in April. I take the teas tomorrow!!! I am freaking out. :uhoh3:

How did you do on the TEAS? I take it this week and am so nervous!

I got an 82%. I'm pretty happy with that score but i am going to take it one more time to try and get a better score. It was just like the practice tests online. Science was the hardest. The study manual is helpful and for me, going on you tube and watching as many videos (about DNA,RNA, mitosis, etc) as possible. Good luck!! Let me know how you did!! Are you applying at National?

Hey, I am applying for cohort 30 too!!! Have you taken the teas test yet?

SDbioMan, you have me even more anxious about being accepted. I applied for cohort 29, have all A's and one A-, scored 83% on the teas v, and I felt like I did pretty well on my essay. Now, I'm not so sure....I really hope I find out if I've been accepted soon! And good luck to you this time around!!! :)

sorry it took so long to respond, I just applied for the April entrance. I have taken the TEAS IV but not the V yet waiting to see what date they give me and I plan on study until that date. I got a 83% on the TEAS IV so I hope I do better or just as good. Also I am at SD but online I live near Temecula. How about you...are you only appling to NU?

How did it go??? I am nervous about taking the TEAS.

Anyone know any place I can go to pay to take the TEAS, I want to do it once before I test with NU to see what my score is and what I need to work on. Crazy I know, but I just want to be prepared.:hpygrp:

I took the TEAS at San Diego State. I am still waiting to here from National about when I am going to take it with them. Has anyone that has applied for cohort 30 heard anything yet?
