Hi everyone!
I just recently applied to nursing cohort 38 starting next April in San Diego. I'm currently waiting for my teas and essay date. I'm so anxious to find out if I've been accepted or not but I've been told we probably won't find out until January or February! Is there anyone who is in the same boat as me? Hope to receive some replies on here! :)
Hello everyone!
I am scheduled to take the TEAS and proctored essay exam this coming August 27th...can anyone please tell me what prompt question you guys got for your proctored essay? I'm just really stressing out on the essay since I have no idea what they will ask me to write about. Any info will be great! Thanks in advanced!

Hi, I am graduating from National in LA this month. The prompts change every time. Mine was something along the lines of besides caring why do you want to be a nurse. What they really care about is 1) your ability to write (grammar, sentences, flow, etc). 2) can you follow directions - FOLLOW the prompt. Don't try to make it something that it isn't. If it asks you about why you want to be a nurse (besides caring) talk about the real reason you want to be a nurse. I wouldn't use it as a chance to grandstand or boast about your qualifications if that makes sense.
Hello everyone, I am currently finishing my pre reqs at Miramar College. So far by the end of spring 2016, I will finish All the sciences, psych 101, socio, english 101 and 205, library science 101, health. I was wondering what other classes I still need to take at national? for example I need to take the Biomed stats? and is national university more competitive than cal state or sdsu?

@tahiti ... sorry i just saw your post. im not sure if that is happening because when you think about it the teas is pretty standard amongst many SON's. Where did you hear this from?
However, i was talking about the ati tests alongside each course. SDSU had did away with that portion because it was very faulty, and praying to ZEUS that it doesnt do that to us. if so it needs to be done away with, but the ati teas test is still in place at SDSU.
Hope that helped?
