established by the legal action center, the national helping individuals with criminal records re-enter through employment network is both a national clearinghouse for information and an advocate for policy change. the goal of the national h.i.r.e. network is to increase the number and quality of job opportunities available to people with criminal records by changing public policies, employment practices and public opinion. the national h.i.r.e. network also provides training and technical assistance to agencies working to improve the employment prospects for people with criminal records.

I'm a RN in Florida and I just moved to Colorado, got a letter from the board of nursing in Colorado! Help anyone? I'm freaking out!!! This stuff was almost 10 years ago and Florida didn't even bat an eyelash about it. They want all my criminal hx and records with a letter of who what where when and WHY...no felonies. Do I need to move back to Florida?!?!

I would suggest researching stuff on colorado everywhere is diffrent. Also make a attention post to colorado nurses so they all can seek in and help on this . i kiv

Live in florida and just got hired at a hospital and freaking about my background . theres no convictions but im nervous they may see the arrests so i know how u feel . however ull b fine all they want is the info. Keep reiterating it was 10 years ago .
