It's been about 7 weeks. In this age of technology, just has me wondering why it takes so long.

Good question; the NCLEX is certainly faster! It may have something to do with waiting for everyone in the region who took the test in that "window" being processed, but I'm not sure. I actually found out first by checking the registry. I showed up on that before I was officially informed of the results...

I took the National board Certification test at the end of July, so its been 6+ weeks. So I just called the toll free number after checking my mailbox today. The lady told me it will likely take up to 8 weeks to receive the results.

I totally agree that it takes such a long time to receive results considering our present technology. I don't understand that either.

I commented yesterday that I called the toll free number around 2:00 and the lady said it would be more like 8 weeks to receive my results. Well yesterday at 5:18, I received an email telling me that I PASSED and I will receive a certificate in 6 to 7 weeks. I'm so relieved and excited to pass but I didn't realize they sent out emails.

Hi, ang888. I had the same experience. Called and was told it may be 8 weeks. Then I received an email that evening saying I PASSED. What a relief!! I am so thrilled for your good news!! Now to wait for our fancy certificates to come in the mail!! Congrats to you!

I am soooo glad I passed but it almost seemed anticlimactic when I read the email. I almost thought it was a hoax. I'm grateful that I received an email or else I would still be waiting. But EVERYDAY I worked myself up going to the mailbox and EVERYDAY I got nothing in the mail. Congratulations to you also CJforme01!!!
