Hi, all,

I applied to Nassau Community College today for the Spring 2010 semester. I understand that the Spring class is much smaller than the Fall semester. Would anyone mind sharing -- I applied with a 3.75 and all pre-reqs done. Anyone out there get in to the January class in the past with a comparable GPA? I understand that it's all according to the pool of GPA's they receive - 4.0's first, but I'm looking for a glimmer of hope.

Nothing in Today's mail so I called again an they would remail the letter. Can't give a decision over phone So I will still be waiting & keep updated...

WOW! I'm shocked I beleive you and I are in the same boat with grades and all...This should be interesting when I get my letter but don't give up I was denied in the spring because of residency...Keep you posted and sorry!!!

Suzi4- Sorry to hear you didn't get in. Was hoping to hear good news from you. Try again in Sept for the Jan start up. According the the info session last week they are trying to implement a night course for Jan also. My help the odds.

Sorry Suzi - Don't give up, though! I didn't get in the first time around, either -Also, I know that they sometimes call people back who got initially got rejected if they don't fill up all the spots they have. That happened to a friend of mine - she got a rejection letter the same day I got mine, and then 3 weeks later she got a phone call (2 days before the interview day) and they told her to show up for the interview - now she's finishing her 1st semester. I was just sad that I couldn't join her! You never know....

I feel so bad for you....dont give up!! Keep trying....my daughter got rejected from other schools...so heartbreaking!!

CONTINUE WITH GOOD GRADES AND RE-APPLY.....

We NEED NURSES TO CARE FOR THE SICK.THESE SCHOOLS MAKE IT SO DIFFICULT.SHAME ON THE SCHOOLS!!
