Hi everyone! Anyone applying to NCC Spring 2016? I just took my TEAS yesterday. They are using a new way of selecting applicants so it will be interesting. They are using all classes pertaining to the program, rather than the four. Also, they aren't using the science part of the TEAS. Anyone else have any more info?
I have a BS and 3.57 in 7 classes that I have. NC resident. TEAS...I may take again, but I scored Reading 83, math 67, English 70.
My student info was updated yesterday, I do not know when, because each time I checked, I kept seeing "Previously Graduated from NCC." I wasn't looking at dates and did not see that the catalog term and admit term changed, both list Spring 2016. Current program still reads: "Not Pursuing Degree." For College, it reads: "No College Designated." For major and department and program, it reads: "Previously Graduated, Not Assigned." This is where the permission for a second degree comes in, because these items will not change until I get permission for a second degree. (I hope!) An email from the department would be awesome.
Yea its not a prerequisite anymore but they REALLY want you to have it before you start. I gt nkbthe main reason I didn't get in is BC I don't have my ap2 and med micro... And now that my ap1 is over 10 years I don't even have that, even if I retook it in the spring it wouldn't be on my next application so I'm Totally screwed... I can't believe my teas scores couldn't put me over the edge. Uhg
3.4 gpa missing bio ethics I still haven't checked email I might check it midnight I have a lot of things I wanna get done before I open that email cuz if I open it now I might end up sleeping the whole day..... all your grades are really good I don't understand what the admission process is like I mean it seems like it's easier to get to med school with those grades lol I dunno, I'm debating whether to even open the email this is just so draining...
Just called the ND. They said the main reason I didn't get in was a C from 2000 in eng 101 from cw post... I didn't even know I had a C BC transfer grades dont show up in the Nassau transcript.. What a waste, and they confirmed my AP1 grade is no longer good... Well, I'm done with my hopes for nassau

@ndgambella, A&P is not a prereq anymore (just Coreq) so you can apply. Also, you said eng 102...don't think that is required at all....so that B wasn't taken into account. Idk, this doesn't seem to be a fair system as I'm comparing stats and the way that they are informing us of our acceptance/denials.
