Nassau Community College Spring 2016

Hi everyone! Anyone applying to NCC Spring 2016? I just took my TEAS yesterday. They are using a new way of selecting applicants so it will be interesting. They are using all classes pertaining to the program, rather than the four. Also, they aren't using the science part of the TEAS. Anyone else have any more info?

I have a BS and 3.57 in 7 classes that I have. NC resident. TEAS...I may take again, but I scored Reading 83, math 67, English 70.

That's insane. I'm sorry. How is that possibles with those scores? Are you NC res?

Yup.. 3.5 gpa.. Just needed ap2 and med micro

the kicker is i took AP1 10 years ago, this was my last semester of it being able to apply towards the program, if i ever get in i'll have to take it over.... though theres no chance of getting in without taking it first so next semester doesnt look to good

nope, just said my application was carefully reviewed and could not offer me a seat. Oh well, wasn't meant to be.

How are your grades in your other classes?

with those grades and u didn't get in, all of a sudden i'm depressed.....should i even bother checking my email....

Congrats!! what did you get on your teas? I'm not a Nassau resident so I want to know where I stand for the fall . I've completed all the electives except micro, which I'm taking in the spring .

i haven't checked my email in the last 30 minutes though i'm sure it might already be in there, i think i'm gonna go about the day first and get things done before i open my email, just so it can be a productive day before i see whatever's waiting for me in that email. Ndg your grades are really good it's insane you didn't get in.

the lowest grades i got was a B in ENG 102 and a B+ in AP1.... everything else was an A in the required classes
