Nassau Community College Spring 2015

Hey Everyone!!!! i didnt see a thread for NCC spring 2015 nursing program, so i figured i start one. Anyone plan on applying for spring semester?

You could also share some insight if you're already in the program. Like how the application process was for you and your gpa as well as TEAS scores. im sure any info would be helpful.

I have been following all of these posts and updates. I live in Nassau county and still haven't received my letter. Today, I called the admissions office to see if they good give me some information. This is what I was told…. only SOME of the letters were sent out because they are still processing applications. She pulled up my Nassau ID and told me that my application was still "sitting" there to be processed. She told me that I could receive my letter anytime during the next two weeks.

I was also told at information session that GPA, TEAS score, and residency were the only factors that were looked at, and the top 64 were given spots. Clearly this is not the case, if some have been accepted and others haven't even had there applications looked at. I'm extremely disappointed and confused. This doesn't seem like a "fair" system.

What?! That make absolutely no sense! That is not right why do they still have applications pending? I am just as confused. That is truly unfair. How were your stats?

Oh okay, I live in Queens. So...I guess you received the Nassau resident points. ^__^ Are you also a NCC student? I heard from someone they counted that into the point system but I think that was for last semester.

yes I attend NCC part time and I'm now completing Mirco Biology. So I will only need to concentrate on my core Nursing classes

I called yesterday and was told my application is still waiting to be processed. The lady told me that was a good thing... Who knows!

Not yet. I called yesterday and was to my application is still waiting to be reviewed and I should know in the next two weeks.
