Hello everyone,

I did not see a thread for upcoming Fall 2020. Who has applied for this window that closes March 13th? What are your stats? I want to know like yesterday if I got in. This wait is the worst. Anyway, I look forward to hearing from you.

Has anyone gotten an email for the Zoom meeting or when someone from nursing contacts us to give us more information about the program? I already did the Background Check.

A few of us have already had virtual advisement. I’m assuming they are sending out emails little by little! Join us on facebook “Nassau community college nursing fall 2020”.

Hi everyone, CONGRATS on those who were accepted into the program ?

I am planning to apply for the Spring 2021 but I’ve had trouble in my PSY 216 class and I think the highest possible grade I could receive is a “C”, the rest of my prerequisites are B/B+. Does anyone have similar stats to mine that have gotten into the program?? I am VERY stressed out at the moment ?

These are my grades. I will put a R next to the classes I repeated for a better grade. As you can see a good majority of my classes have been repeated because I ended up with a C/C+ or withdrew! Please do not get discouraged over a "C". My suggestion to you is to retake this class over the Summer and work you butt off to get a higher grade. Study hard for your TEAS as well

ENG 101: C+

R: ENG 102: B+

R: STATS: C

AP 1: B

AP 2: B

R: GEN PSYCH: A

R: LIFESPAN: A

R: BIOMED: B+

R: MED MICRO: B

PATHO: B

TEAS: 75%

Thanks! I’m a little stressed out but I am taking bioethics and I need to take either micro or patho over the Summer, so I don’t think I’ll be able to retake it in time for the Spring 2021 semester ? Fingers crossed though !

Personally I feel it’s better to have more classes done than less. But definitely study hard for whichever class you end up taking for the summerI honestly think you’ll be fine. Just do well on your TEAS.Personally I feel it’s better to have more classes done than less. But definitely study hard for whichever class you end up taking for the Summer. It also depends on the pool of applicants.

Hey guys I know that considering what’s going on with the coronavirus everything is super slow heard back for the Fall 2020?

People that were accepted into the program were emailed acceptance letters. Decisions have been made already

Hi All,

I graduated from NCC this May 2020. All the best.

Hello all I graduated from VEEB this past Summer with my LPN and I am wondering how to go about taking the prerequisites  for Nassau Community College's LPN-RN program. I'm not that good with computers and all this techy stuff. Can someone just advise me as to what's the process for getting into the program? What do I need to do first? Do I take the TEAS first? Where Do I sign up? Who's willing to be my mentor? LOL. Please this is all so overwhelming to me. I'm trying to get back into school so I don't lose momentum. Unfortunately, I'll have to take the TEAS test. Didn't score high 90's to be exempt. Please help!!?

@maybeIllmakeit You have to apply to NCC as a liberal arts major to take the Pre-reqs. The TEAS should be taken before you apply to the nursing program. The more Pre-reqs you have done the better your chances of getting into the nursing program.

Thank you so much for responding. I was a little confused by this.
