Nassau Community College Nursing program Spring 2017

I didnt see a thread for spring 2017 so I thought I should start one. I would be applying for nassau's nursing program and would like to know who else would be applying and what your stats are. Also I was told by the nursing department that the soonest we would hear if we were accepted/rejected wouldnt be until the first week in december. Im so nervous as this is my second time applying and hope to not get rejected once again. The first time I applied back in march i did not have any classes done but had already started taking classes towards nursing pre reqs so Im very nervous and would like to hear from anyone who has applied previously or will be applying.

i think they started accepting for some odd reason...because someone registered for nursing fundamentals and I always thought that the first nursing class you take. It sounds like you have been accepted if they changed your status. In the past thats how people know.

I applied thru admissions so is this unofficial and wait til you get an official letter

I think the person that registered for nur101 may be someone that failed last semester and has to retake it.

Did you apply through admissions as a non matriculated student or through the nursing department as a transfer? I've read on previous semesters threads that if you apply through the nursing department you may not see the change in your major under "registration status" like the people who apply through admissions do. I just want to check the validity of that.

Hey everyone! Just called the nursing department and was told they are sending letter out today and status may not change in banner if you've applied as a transfer ! Let's hope we get these letter soon !
