I didnt see a thread for spring 2017 so I thought I should start one. I would be applying for nassau's nursing program and would like to know who else would be applying and what your stats are. Also I was told by the nursing department that the soonest we would hear if we were accepted/rejected wouldnt be until the first week in december. Im so nervous as this is my second time applying and hope to not get rejected once again. The first time I applied back in march i did not have any classes done but had already started taking classes towards nursing pre reqs so Im very nervous and would like to hear from anyone who has applied previously or will be applying.
Hi,
I applied through admissions and when I checked my registration status today it had changed from non matriculated student to nursing. I called the admissions office and they confirmed that I was accepted! They said that the letters have been mailed out and we should be receiving them in a few days. Good luck everyone!
Thank you! Yes, I was taking some classes as a non matriculated student.
When you're on the myNCC portal, on the left side under "registration information" theres an option to view "registration status". Mine changed, and I had read under some old forums that other people's had changed before receiving a letter, but I'm not sure if thats the case for everyone. I saw someone else post that it might not change if you applied as a transfer student.
