I didnt see a thread for spring 2017 so I thought I should start one. I would be applying for nassau's nursing program and would like to know who else would be applying and what your stats are. Also I was told by the nursing department that the soonest we would hear if we were accepted/rejected wouldnt be until the first week in december. Im so nervous as this is my second time applying and hope to not get rejected once again. The first time I applied back in march i did not have any classes done but had already started taking classes towards nursing pre reqs so Im very nervous and would like to hear from anyone who has applied previously or will be applying.
Hey everyone, I stumbled across your thread and I figured I would reply. I'm about to go into my third semester of the nursing program at NCC and I remember waiting for that damn letter lol. If it helps at all, I received mine the first week of December. It came in a simple white envelope with Nassau Community College typed/ stamped on the top. Good luck everyone!

Thanks for the info! Hopefully we get it soon and would you mind sharing your stats when you were accepted into the program?
I don't remember what I got on the TEAS, but they don't look at your overall score. They look at each individual grade and it needs to be higher than a 55 to be considered. The higher the grade, the better your chances of getting in. I know Nassau doesn't look at your science grade on the TEAS so you could have gotten a 30 and it doesn't matter.

Has anyone gotten any letters yet? every time I call I get a different answer on when we should be receiving them. Now theyre saying they wont be sent out until the first or second week in december - so for those who do get accepted how are they supposed to do their orientation and get vaccines and register for other classes in such short notice? this is crazy i think im just tired of the wait
