  1. I believe since I would be an internal transfer the onboarding process is slightly different. I was also reading in previous posts for prior fellowships that periop is always the last to contact people/is always late (of course haha). Ellen had originally called me to interview for the July fellowship, (however I had a prior commitment that I couldn’t get out of so she had me interview for the October one) and the start date was 8/2. So that was definitely delayed from the intended start date.
  2. Has anyone heard back regarding the periop fellowship? I interviewed on 9/8, shadowed a day in the OR 9/15 (she told me since I would be an internal transfer I would be able to shadow). After my shadow day she told me I should be hearing back from the recruiter the following week but it has been radio silence. I emailed the recruiter last week and she said they were still deciding on positions and then the job posting opened up again with a closing date of this past Sunday. I’m assuming that would mean more interviews would be done this week meaning the start date can’t possibly be for this Monday coming up?
  3. I applied for the critical care fellowship and the ED fellowship at Manhasset as well as the critical care fellowship at LIJ, crossing my fingers to hear back.
  4. Hi guys! I know it's been a while since anyone has posted in here, but I have a question for everyone that got in--does anyone know what service learning project they're going to be doing? I'm trying to figure something out and I really can't think of anything. Any examples of what you all might be doing would be greatly appreciated!
  5. I applied as a transfer student. Supposedly, you won't see your registration status change if that's how you applied.
  6. Still no letter! This is so frustrating.
  7. Did anyone that's already received a letter apply through the nursing department? I'm wondering if maybe the people who applied through admissions are receiving their letters first.
  8. No letter for me today unfortunately
  9. Congrats!! I hope I have some good news waiting for me when I get home from work!
  10. Has anyone gotten any letters today?
  11. Congrats! this is my second time applying & im praying that I get accepted. Hopefully I get a letter tomorrow!
  12. I really hope so! I don't know how much longer I can wait, the anticipation is killing me!
  13. Did you apply through admissions as a non matriculated student or through the nursing department as a transfer? I've read on previous semesters threads that if you apply through the nursing department you may not see the change in your major under "registration status" like the people who apply through admissions do. I just want to check the validity of that.
