Nassau Community College Nursing Fall 2018.

Any one applying for Nursing at NCC for Fall 2018?

You are also going to need more than an associates degree if you want to be an rn because they are doing away with just a two year degree will be fine to get a job

I will be going for my BSN once I have this under my belt. I have a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and hope some of those classes will go towards the BSN. For me I can breath easier knowing that I will have my RN license while pursuing my BSN..

I am doing the same as you. I was accepted to 2 bacherlors program. But I would rather do Nassau's graduate and sit for the boards and then finish my BSN. It would give me piece of mind too. I'm scoping out RN-BSN programs to see which classes I could squeeze in at NCC if I get into the program. Best of luck to you!! And good luck to everyone. The suspense is surely driving me insane.

Did you apply for day or evening?

I'm so worried as well . Which schools did you apply to ?

I applied for the evening...and only applied to Nassau

Evening for me as well. 2 to 3 weeks left, hopefully!

I applied for day .. anyone applied for day ?

Any current NCC students get an email about an admissions decision being made? I did, and unfortunately it doesn't look good for me, but the email did not specifically say anything about Nursing. So, I'm confused. I will contact them tomorrow.

I currently attended there and did not receive an email. What did yours say if I can ask?

I attend there too but no email, what did your email say ? Who sent it ?

The email came from admissions and says, "The Office of Admissions has reviewed your application for the Fall 2018 semester and, unfortunately, you do not currently satisfy the entrance requirements for the program to which you have applied." It does not mention nursing, but I didn't apply to anything else, so I assume that this is a denial. Back to the drawing board for me, I guess.

I would call or email just to confirm, especially if it doesn't mention nursing. Also, I believe it's way too soon for a denial/acceptance. Just reach out to confirm. Hope the email was sent in error.
