omg mine changed to Nursing Day! I hope this is for real!

did you call admissions to confirm?

Hey!!

So I applied to nursing (day) for this semester, and my status changed to Nursing - Day AS this morning. I called admissions to confirm, and they transferred me to the nursing department. They wouldn't give me any decision information over the phone because letters have not officially gone out yet. They told me to keep an eye out for the email today or tomorrow. Admissions says it is most likely accurate, but nursing said to wait for the email before celebrating (NCC can be very unorganized and is prone to making mistakes). I applied through admissions, if that helps.

I don't know my points (would have to look at my transcripts and I am at work) but I am a current NCC student, a Nassau resident, and have never been in a nursing program before.

you don't get 5 points if you never applied, you get 5 points for never being enrolled in a nursing program before

Yes, I said in the post I have never been in a nursing program before. I should have specified and said have never been enrolled. I will post my stats after work, when I can look at my transcripts. Letters/emails should be out today or tomorrow they told me

I called the office of admissions and checked my student information and I have also been accepted to the evening program! Congratulations to everyone that has found out so far! When I called they said that there is one woman looking at all 600 applications and that admissions decisions are still being made! Good luck to everyone!

Hey!! Congratulations to you. My status changed as well, but they told me "not to celebrate until we get the official decisions" did they tell you if you see the status change, you are definitely in? Would like to know if I can have a celebratory drink tonight after all this waiting!

I called and was told they didn't get to review my application yet and all decisions should be made by the end of the week
