Nassau Community College Fall 2016

Hello, I am wondering if there is anyone here that is applying to Nassau for Fall 2016. I have applied and I'm scheduled to take my TEAS exam on 3/18. I do not have all of my pre-requisites which I understand gives me a better chance of being admitted. I plan to take classes this summer and will take the rest in the Fall if I'm not admitted. I would just like to know thoughts on getting into this program. Also, if there is anyone currently in the program please share your thoughts on how things are going for you. Thanks!

I have been reading since I think this thread was started lol! I decided to finally just make a username to say how crazy I am going with this whole process!! can anyone let me know if they get it in the mail today? according to last years thread this was the day where most people found out!

Ill be at work going crazy until 430 so please let me know!

also, Anyone apply for evenings? those 24 coveted seats..ugh im dreading this letter

Thank you all who get your mail early and give us an idea of what to expect. My mailman doesn't stop by until 3 in the afternoon. I hope everyone on this board gets in and we can start a new thread for "2016 - Students Accepted and Enrolled in Nassau 2016"

My mail just came, and I didn't get anything from NCC. For myself, I'm actually glad because today is my birthday, and it would have sucked to get a rejection letter! I guess the letters will come tomorrow or Friday. :)

To the person who mentioned to the people that are registering are probably past nursing students that failed or had to withdraw and are trying again, thank you, you are probably right! You put my insane mind at ease bc you are right we can't register until after orientation

Haha, I meant tomorrow, as in Friday (duh!). We had to celebrate my birthday last night instead of today, so I got my days mixed up earlier this afternoon (a sign of getting older, I guess). :) Good luck everyone!

Yes! I called the Nursing Department and asked them about that, and they told me that no admits that are new applicants for the fall of 2016 can register yet
