  1. Thank you all who get your mail early and give us an idea of what to expect. My mailman doesn't stop by until 3 in the afternoon. I hope everyone on this board gets in and we can start a new thread for "2016 - Students Accepted and Enrolled in Nassau 2016"
  2. No letter here either. Still waiting.
  3. Does anyone know what would happen if someone was accepted but didn't accept? Would the next student in line receive that offer?
  4. It's possible that the people answering the phones and fielding the questions don't really know when the letters are gong out but don't want to admit it. I'm sure we will start getting something this week. If you look back on last year's posts, people were getting responses during the last week of April. Take a deep breath everyone. These things just take time.
  5. Not all NCC accounts are created equally I guess . . . . Those tabs are not available for me. I clicked on everything to make sure I wasn't just crazy. I'm glad I'm not the only one!
  6. That was not confusing at all. Thank you for taking the time out to explain it further. I don't have that as tab when I log in and nothing that says anything about registration. I will just have to wait for the letter in the mail. Thanks again.
  7. I don't mean to sound incompetent, but I am the only one that can't find this registration status? When I log in, it doesn't list anything like that? Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thanks for the help, in advance!!!
  8. Where on the website is the status posted? I want to start obsessing over that too!
  9. I was not able to make it to any of the information sessions. Did anyone get a good breakdown on how the point system works for their selection process? We all have to wait about three weeks before hearing anything, we might as well sweat it out together . . . . :-)
  10. I scored pretty well in everything but the Science section. (98-Reading, 94-Math, 52-Science and 79-English) I hope I did enough and rack up enough points to get accepted. Will anyone that receives acceptance or rejections please post on this site so we can all know when we should be hearing????? The waiting is probably worse than anything else.
  11. Thanks so much for taking the time out to reply. I am looking to work full-time while I study so that is really why an ADN appealed to me. I am still really unsure what I am going to do. I am looking for something that works with my schedule, makes sense time-wise and makes sense money-wise. Thanks again. I am going to keep doing my research.
  12. With no kind of science classes under my belt, would it be more prudent to acquire an ADN first and work my way up to the BSN? Thanks in advance for any help.
  13. Good Evening Everyone, I am currently trying to gather information about nursing programs in my area (Queens). I have a Bachelor's degree in English and I am quickly realizing that it will not get me very far in this new field I'm trying to break into. I was interested in applying for an ADN but I wanted to know if a dual-degree program would help me get a BSN in the same amount of time? Are there any accelerated programs that I am just not seeing? It appears as though I might be starting from scratch. Any comments or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
