Has anyone Interviewed for NSCC ADN program? please share

I haven't heard of registering for any nursing classes that involve the program unless you are already accepted into the program. I have never been through this process, so then again what do I know.

Funnyface:

I do not believe those classes are a requirement before the program. I would imagine someone taking those classes this summer would be only to help them get a head start on the program...?

I still have heard nothing yet. I left a voice mail last week but I imagine that after the hundreds of applications received in the RN department, there is no time for returning calls, especially calls from inpatient people (like me :0).

I tried calling again today with no luck. They have an outdated message on their information line. If anyone stops by the nursing office (W-72) please let us know! I live several hours away or I would just go in and ask. I'm impatient too Lisa, how can you not be lol.. Even if letters go out Monday, I can not imagine hearing anything until summer. Not very much time to prepare if that happens :)

I received my interview letter today! I'm so excited! My letter was sent out yesterday, April 7th. I wish you all good luck!

Ahhh I can't wait to get home from work! I guess it's possible that if it's coming it might not get there until Saturday or Monday though....

Funny face- what is your gpa? I haven't gotten my letter yet, and now I'm worried! :/

Hey m200-

My GPA is a 3.5. My friend also received her letter today and she has a 3.7 GPA. Do not panic, I am sure you will hear something by tomorrow or Monday. Think positive! If you do not hear anything by Monday go to the nursing office a mistake could have been made. Good luck to you:)

I hope your right! Jbenz did you hear anything??

Never got a letter, Let me know how interviews go! Good luck :)

Gee m2oo, I'm so sorry to hear that! Did you double check with the nursing department to make sure there was not a mistake? I remember last year, when I did not have enough classes to apply, people challenging the fact that they didn't get interviews. Some got a second chance.

I could go ask. The only class I am lacking is the one I'm taking now, microbiology. My gpa may not be high enough. It's a 3.4, I might retake a class to bring it up

I applied as well and have not received a letter. I applied last year for Fall 2010 and had 2 interviews and still did not get accepted. I'm hoping that I receive a letter soon. They make this process really hard. I went through 2 grueling interviews and did not get accepted but they encouraged me to apply again and now I haven't received anything. GRRR! Good luck everyone!
