Has anyone Interviewed for NSCC ADN program? please share

I 'm still waiting too! It makes you wonder if your application was overlooked of dismissed by accident. The suspense is killing me,lol. I heard that they give group interviews, what is that like? I would prefer one on one, myself. Good luck everyone and please let us know if you got a letter!!

I called yesterday and left a voicemail- have not heard back. I really think they will send out letters in April (I hope!)

I'm so glad that ya'll relplied, I was starting to get worried if my application got lost or something! The suspense is killing me too! What GPA did ya'll apply with?

My GPA is 3.4 and my ACT score is low but passing. I see that most of the "grade" to be admitted relies on our interview score.

Yeah, mine is a 3.4 too. Do they look at your act scores? I didn't see anything about that! Lordy, it's been a long time since I took that, I don't even remember what my score was!

I am not for sure if they look at ACT scores actually. I don't have the entrance info on hand right now. I have applied to a few other programs and they all look at your ACT scores, not for sure if Nash State will count ACT.

Have you finished any of the Biology courses?

Yes mam- I am currently enrolled in micro and everything else I have completed. I made B in apII, and A's in chemistry and apII. Micro is the hardest science class I have taken. I hope to get in, it's so competitive and I'm worried my GPA of 3.4 won't be high enough. Have you completed your science classes?

I also have finished A&P 1&2 (botB in both) and currently I am in the middle of the semester in Micro and Psych. I have not taken chemistry, is that a requirement as well as the A&P? I agree with you, Micro is difficult.

I know A&P are requirements along with micro, psych and the other gen Ed. Courses. Chemistry I don't think is, but was a requirement for another program. Still nothing yet!

I have my bio classes out of the way, but I got a B in a&p 1 and 2 and an A in micro. I wonder if the 2 Bs will hurt me much... The suspense of waiting to hear anything is driving me crazy lol.

I think the teacher you have in micro makes all the difference. I had a wonderful teacher who really helped me through the class!
