In this day and age, you cannot pick a job by salary. You have to consider the work environment also and many other factors like benefit package. Some hospital have higher salaries but crappy benefits. Also if you are a new grad...you cant base yourself on salary as jobs are hard to come by for RNs with no experience and you def cannot negotiate salary with an employer b/c u can easily be denied the job. If you are experienced nurse then you can be picky with salary. And I hear even experienced RNs have challenge in getting a new job in certain areas. The job market is not easy.
Focus on having a great application and interview and once you get a job offer then worry about the numbers.

Oh, I wasn't planning on basing a job off salary. Just thought it would be good info to know :) I'm curious, mostly. And wondering if Indeed is anywhere near correct :)

I recently saw a post like this but it was closed.
Thought it would be a great idea to start back up, as that topic was years old anyway and therefore obviously outdated.
So, please post the hospital name/location, your job title and starting salary! :)
