My Time Has Finally Come

I have never been so excited. I received a letter from my school stating that I have been accepted for Fall 2011. :yeah:

I can't believe I actually have a start date!! This is my dream come true. I can't actually believe I am going to finally do this. (I'm 37) I'm actually going to be a !!!

My time has finally come.

I'm 48 and will be starting RN program in May.

When I got that acceptance letter I put it on my fridge!

Its such a great feeling after all that work and waiting. :)

Awesome, CONGRATS! I am thrilled to hear about older students. I am 32 and I am starting nursing school in August. I spent years getting a Bachelor's degree that turned out to be a dead end for me. So, I decided to go back to school.

Being older, I sometimes feel discouraged but nursing school, especially, seems to be full of older students.
