If you don't have to, then don't worry about it. On the other hand, if you find yourself struggling the first couple of weeks, maybe consider dropping down to the lower class for your own sake. Better to take two classes and do well in them than take retake the same one because you were a little in over your head. Good luck!
Huh, at my school you must take all lower level classes in math and science in order to progress to higher ones. Like, bio 101, before bio 170, and math 100, before math 150, etc. You can attempt to test out of a few classes, however the tests are designed to encompass the entire course, so they are pretty hard to pass.
Hi guys,I didn't even take Bio 100 (Introduction To Biology). Should I skip Bio 100 and go straight for Bio 170? I've been slacking off the pass few years but now I'm committed. Also, I want to get into the nursing program ASAP.
Intro to bio is more like high school biology.. if you took that, I think you're good. Seriously, I don't even remember what I learned in basic bio, it's been so long and the class was boring. As far as I know, anatomy introduces/gives a brief overview of the basic stuff before going into detail. I think you'll be fine.
Good luck!

I'm in a lot of trouble and I don't know what to do.
My school's nursing program requirements are:
* Biology 170 (Anatomy)
* Biology 175 (Human Physiology)
* Biology 210 (General Microbiology)
I didn't even take Bio 100 (Introduction To Biology). Should I skip Bio 100 and go straight for Bio 170? I've been slacking off the pass few years but now I'm committed. Also, I want to get into the nursing program ASAP.
Help guys!!!
