1/3 of my 75 question NCLEX was SATA so I had a good feeling. The PVT gave me more confidence.

Nothing can compare to seeing a "Pass" on the Pearson VUE website though! Well, maybe when I get my license in the mail?! :) SO HAPPY.

Thank you all for your continual support during this stressful time. :)

For those of you who have yet to test, I'm rooting for you all!

I've been following the "Kaplan's Qbank" and "kaplan readiness" threads very closely. According to those threads, the following people are testing on the following dates:

madisona1 testing on 2/15

jenfros2 testing on 2/16

sasagrrrl testing on 2/18?

chillceb testing on 2/19?

emmie1024 testing on 2/24

JessyM testing on 2/28

My thoughts and prayers are with you all!

YOU CAN DO IT! :) :) :)

If you guys have any questions feel free to PM me or asks here on this thread. I will watch for PMs and check this thread daily.

Great job! I take my RN exam on 2/15 and I am so scared. I have been doing questions, but only scoring 50-60%. I have an alternate formate question book and I plan on completing this book today. What state did you test out of? I am in Az? This will be my 2nd time taking this exam. I'm so lost.. last time I took the exam it shut off at 203 questions. I would be scared if it shut off on 75. Any encouraging words would be greatly appreciated. Good luck to all!

Thanks madisona1! :) I added you to the list in my OP.

What book have you been scoring 50-60% in?

I honestly didn't practice much alternate format questions. All I did was 27 select all that apply questions in my Kaplan toolbox and I scored a 33%. I would focus more on the multiple choice questions than select all that apply because you need to get these questions correct before the test will give you the harder select all that apply questions. It's kind of like the ABC's. Focus on A before B.

Also, you might find yourself getting frustrated if you focus too much on these questions because they are really difficult to get correct. Even for people who pass the NCLEX (remember I got a 33% in practice).

It's almost impossible to relax the few days before the test. Do take, at least, the afternoon and night off of studying the day before you test and try to do something fun or relaxing.

I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks so much JessyM!!

I changed your testing date in the OP.

I don't think there is a way to get rid of the nerves. I was sick with them the few days before the test. I even cried the morning of the test. Kind of embarrassing. My boyfriend reminded me that I was not going to my execution. I was kind of acting like my life was over. Haha.

Studying and praying will serve you well. Try to relax the day before and do something fun. Every says this and I did not listen. I studying until about 6 pm and then relaxed and had fun from that point on. I should have spent more time chilling out.

You are very welcome for post and prayers! I'll keep them coming! :)

:yeah: congratulations!! :yeah:
