Well I just wanted to share my experience with you guys. I took the NCLEX-RN on April 25th and I found out I passed on the 27th. I did the pearson vue trick and did the quick results. I finished in 75 questions with alot of multiple choice, EKG, priority and medication questions, plus one calculation.
When I was studying, I first got PrepU at the beginning of the program. Got to level 6.67 out of 8. I think it's harder than the NCLEX, but during my last semester, my husband bought me Uworld. This is what helped me alot. Everything covered in Uworld was on the NCLEX. I finished the test bank. I averaged 67% on my score and was in the 94th percentile. On both my assessments i got a very high chance of passing.
My school did the ATI live review. After the predictor I got an 83.3%. Thats a 99% chance of passing.
I did 100-200 questions a day. I didn't use any books or any of my notes. I felt that at that point I knew what I knew and the only thing I did was questions, just practice how to apply knowledge.
I knew I was ready to take the exam when the time came to schedule I wanted to take it ASAP.
The day before the exam I did 150 questions and did not do that great. I was so nervous but I knew that it was all in my mind. I reviewed the flashcards i saved on Uworld, went over cranial nerves. Slept 4 hours. My stomach was messed up from nerves.
The day of the exam I was tired but too anxious. I went in and they palm printed me, I read the rules they give you and I put my things in a locker. The exam starts with a tutorial on how to answer questions, then it begins.
I got one question and my second was a multiple choice. once i reached 75 it ended. Case studies began but those dont count to your score. The survey comes after that then youre done.
My best advice is to stay calm and I know is hard but try. I prayed to feel calm and I was calmer sitting there than I had been the past two days.
Im now a registered nurse!
