Hey guys,
My name is Jimmy and am getting ready to begin my nursing program at the university of central florida. I am very excited and nervous. I had a really interesting situation because my wife got pregnant with my son right after highschool. Since she was a year older she had already been going to school and we decided we would let her finish. I than began to take to classes a semester and graduated from the local community college. I than decided u.c.f. is where I wanted to go. Upon being excepted I realized that I loved working with people and kids even more so. I figured nursing would really be a great route to allow me to do so. I do have a lot of questions however regarding this. I would love the opportunity upon graduation with my degree to get a masters as well however if this does not happen i would love to go to work at johns hopkins university under ben carson. I am thinking pediatrics is where I want to be but I don't know if I would like to see hurt or sick kids all the time. Are any of you males in the peds group, if so what are your opinions.
