I'm starting school soon, and was wondering about the qualities of my hair. I've got a mop of hair just like Josh Groban. I was wondering if it'd cause any issues with school, but they won't give me an answer. I can't seem to get a good answer out of anyone.
Any suggestions from anyone out there. I like the hair, and though I admit it can be a pain in the butt to maintain, I think it's okay. I also run on the ambulance for nightshifts, and can see the quality points of having short hair for that (no need for a hat to hide the bed head at night).
What are your thoughts? I'm cutting it all off tomorrow morning if I don't hear anything.

Don't think it would be a problem.
Just keep it well maintained.

Too bad you can't get a decent answer.
I think it has to be above the collar. Females are going to have to wear their hair up off the collar.
My vote would be to cut it because Josh's hair is ugly. But just a personal opinion. LOL

If it can easily be contained in a neat ponytail, then it should be okay. However, if this is gonna be a problem, then I would certainly cut it. Good luck.

Keep it professional. out of your face, clean. Don't let your hair be the focus. Your actions should be your focus. A stupid person can still be bald and a long hair ponytail mopped head person could be the person who just cured cancer. Be yourself don't let your hair dictate your insecurities or confidence

^_^ Wear it in a bun like all the other female nurses who have long hair and prefer to do it. I'm sure you'll get a chuckle or two from your patients. :)

Do as you like, policy notwithstanding. But any time I assist a procedure with a nurse that involves bending over, I know one of my duties is to keep one hand clean to keep her hair out of the way :trout:
Unless it's long enough to put in a nice ponytail, like alois said.
Me, I just like the mr. clean look.
Oh, and you might have to shave, for things like masks and such. Hope that doesn't cramp your style (it certainly did mine..)

I vote for the short, clean look. Just saves time and trouble .
