NO ONE can possibly answer this intelligently for you. Some schools, some regions of the country will have such crushing competition that a 3.9 is too low. Others have a far less competitive area to work within, and a 3.1 is fine.
GENERALLY speaking, you want the highest GPA you can possibly muster to be the best candidate walking through the door.

Talk to an advisor at the school you are planning on going to as they can tell you the average GPA of those applying to and gaining admission to their nursing programs.Also, look at the admission requirements for the program's you are attempting to get into.

Dear nurses, I am a college student taking pre reqs at a community college I got a B for anatomy and I still have to take Chemistry, physiology, and micro biology. My gpa is 3.14 and I was wondering is its too low I'm scared and anxious. I know I still need other important classes but what is a good gpa for apply for nursing school?
