Human Anatomy & Physiology I: A
Nutrition: A-
I read a few posts about people being nervous for AP 2... I got a B+ in AP I and a high A in AP 2.
The secret - have tons and tons of fun in class. Sounds so nerdy but its true! I have learning disabilities and I was able to use my artistic skills to enhance my studying skills. IE - Making color coded posters matching definitions and terms, tracing a friends body on a huge poster and drawing organ systems, bones, etc and hanging it in my house. (totally creepy but it worked!)
The best way to excel in the sciences is to be laid back about it, know you will do well and get friends and classmates that will ENCOURAGE you to do well.
I got A's in all of my prereq's after AP I besides Statistics. I have no recommendations on how to do well in that class. I went through lots of tutors and got a C+, which in the end, is ok for my programs!
My Spring/Winter semester grades are:
Human Growth and Development: A
Microbiology: B (89.46%, so close! )
Anatomy and Physiology I: A
Human Nutrition: A
Worked my butt off and the Micro grade is disappointing but in the end I'm not that worried about it.
As for the futrue I'm doing stats over the summer and then A&P II and Chemistry this fall, perhaps pathophysiology as well but I have no other classes to take for next spring/winter semester which will be a nice break before I hopefully start a nursing program next year summer or fall.

Awesome grades, congrats!!! I can totally understand how you feel about micro. Before our final exam, I had a 90%. I could only miss up to 6 points to keep my A. I missed exactly 6! Lol it's nerve wracking, especially when you desperately need the As. I know everyone says they need As but Im serious when I say I NEEDED all As for spring semester to be competitive for the nursing program. I did it though! Good luck to you on getting into your program!
