Love that book! I read it while I was in nursing school, and just reread it now which is a year after I graduated. This is going to sound corny, but I felt so emotionally involved with the book because I remembered how I felt when I first read it and it really put in to perspective how much I had been though since. I hadn't read the sequel... I'm going to have to check it out.

Hi, I am currently reading a book which was written by a nurse telling about her trials and tribulations as a student nurse all the way through her career as an emergency and critical care nurse. I can't put the book down. Everything is so real and I am sure a lot of you can relate to different aspects of the story. The name of the book is: intensive care, the story of a nurse. Written by echo heron. (Yes that's her real name). I bought it at borders bookstore. So if u ever have the time to take a break from studying, or working those 12hr shifts, I highly recommend it. Also, let me know if someone has heard of it or already read it. Thanks:)
