Wish I had a video of my residents this week. They were doing karioke (spell?). They were singing, "Gettin' down to business", "House of the rising sun", and "Born to be wild". Several of our residents are younger (40's-50's), but even the older folks were enjoying, singing, and dancing with them.

Ha Ha Ha, get off of my blue suede shoes, and don't be cruel, he's a hunk of burning love entertainer. All of the ladies really like listening to him. They like it when I sing while I'm passing meds, too.

Achot chavi, you just made me LOL, and I haven't had one of those in such a lonnng time! Thanks!

We have a Wii that the residents play bowling on.. they have a ball! And just a few weeks ago, we had a live band come in.. most loved it, while others thought it was too loud.

that's awsome! you should get a Wii for them to try-- bowling, golf, etc.

We have that here but they are not very adept at it. Across the street in our independent living facility they have a wii bowling league though.

A bowling league? How cool!!!!:yeah:

Yea, they have tournaments between all of the resident and employee teams. The last 2 tourney's were won by resident teams so apparently being young is no advantage with the Wii. LOL
