MUSC DNP 2016

Hello! :)

I am in the process of applying for MUSC's DNP program (FNP track) which will start August 2016. Is there anyone else that's applying this year? What track are you going for?

Thanks, no, no letters yet. I walked in and asked. I was told that the majority of the letters were sent yesterday afternoon so they should be arriving by the middle to end of this week. If you call, you'll be able to get an answer as she has told some of my friends over the phone that they made it in as well. Keep the thread updated!!

For some reason, I'm not getting notifications when someone replies to this thread. :down: So sorry I missed your message.

Anyway, so for the post baccalaureate DNP-FNP, there were 75 people who applied. 54 people applied in state and 21 applied out of state. A total of 13 applicants were denied (8 in state and 5 out of state). I am assuming that the pending column represents the individuals who are on the alternate list. So there are 10 alternates (6 in state and 4 out of state). A total of 52 individuals have been offered spots (40 in state and 12 out of state). As people accept, defer and decline these numbers will change. I'll try to update the thread with the updated chart if anyone wants it.

A lady called me this morning. She said I was put in an alternate spot, so I am going with the other school. Best of luck ladies! Congratulations and well wishes as you start your program:)
