Hello! :)
I am in the process of applying for MUSC's DNP program (FNP track) which will start August 2016. Is there anyone else that's applying this year? What track are you going for?
So does that mean they already started to send out letters? Or is that information from previous years?
This is the current application status for people who have applied to nursing programs Fall 2016. So for my track, Family NP-DNP (post bac), there are 75 applicants. I've heard that we will start getting notifications at the end of April, first few weeks of May. So excited!!
Hey Everybody!
I'm just touching bases to see if anyone has heard anything yet??? I am so antsy! I received an email regarding financial aid information today. Did anyone else get this email? It says that it will be sent to all applicants, but I wanted to see what you guys have heard.
Thanks!
Hey guys,
So yesterday I was talking to a friend who is in cahoots with a lot of the professors on campus. He was told that the committee met last week and that letters have been printed...the only thing that's needed is the Dean's signature. He said he imagines that we will be receiving letters by next week!
Today as I was leaving the college of nursing I caught the tail end of a conversation where I overheard the administrative assistant at the front desk tell another professor that she is still waiting on the Dean's signature but once that happens, she will be sending them all out at once. So this corroborates with the story my friend told me yesterday.
I had kind of forgotten about the process but now since I found out this information I am nervous all over again! And I wasn't expecting them to come to a decision so soon...it seems that it took forever for them to make decisions for the Accelerated BSN program that I'm in now. So, start checking your mail boxes next week and if you hear something, whether good or bad, update the thread!
Hey, don't hold me to it, but this is just what I heard and observed today. They don't start telling you whether you got in or not over the phone until after the letters have been mailed out. I thought it was a little early for decisions, but I'm not complaining! I really hope we do find out soon. The semester ends for me in 9 days. Knowing if I made it in would be the icing on the cake!
