Hi everyone!!!

I got notified today that I was accepted for the Spring cohort! Yeah! I look forward to meeting all of you, good luck!

Nice JOB!!! congratulations buddy!! see you in January

Thank you! And congrats to you also! I should add that I was accepted as long as I make a C or better in Micro and Stats

Im so excited for you!! The number of applications keep going up and I'm so nervous!!

Hey Everyone!

I was accepted for Fall 2014 but had to defer my enrollment to Spring 2015 for financial reasons, so hopefully I will be starting with you all in Spring this time around if I can figure out a way :) It is difficult being 22 and trying to finance this education by yourself! I graduated from Winthrop University in May and cant wait to begin school!

Hey, when did you graduate Winthrop? I was class of 2012! Small word (:

I got notified today that I was accepted for the Spring cohort! Yeah! I look forward to meeting all of you, good luck!

That is so awesome! Congratulations!!!!!

Im so excited for you!! The number of applications keep going up and I'm so nervous!!

I know, I keep watching the stats and every day the number of applications increases....Only 12 more days until the deadline!! I hope we find out just as quickly as the priority applicants did!

I know they only had a 2 week turn around from their deadline, but there are a lot more applications now. I'm expecting around 4-6 weeks.

i applied for the spring as well! I am out of state so I'm definitely nervous my grades aren't good enough since they accept less out of state. What was everyones cumulative GPA? Good luck to you all!!

Hi all, I have also applied to the spring 2015 class and am so anxious to hear something. I have an associates of science degree, 3.5 cumulative GPA and a 3.79 science GPA. I do not have any volunteer experience or work experience in the field as I have been a stay at home mom for 2 years but I am still hoping for the best! My essay was 98 words and 2 of my 3 references work for or have worked for MUSC in the past so I'm hoping that will help me since I have no experience. Worth a shot! :) Good luck to everyone!!

we should know something in about 40 days... but who is counting? haha

Hi everyone! Sorry I'm joining late to this. I actually created a thread this morning and then realized this one was going pretty strong!

I graduated from Winthrop University this past May with a degree in biology. My cGPA was 3.37. I currently work at Agape Senior as a Dementia Education Specialist... basically I help with clinical education within our company! I'm hoping that really stands out to MUSC, as I create certification/apprenticeship programs for Medical Assistants, CNA's, Caregivers, etc.

I've only volunteered about 40 hours in various settings - under a physician, physical therapist/assistant, transitional care manager, life enrichment, and in the labor delivery department at Piedmont Hospital.

I have 3 great references (1 being a Nurse manager at Palmetto Health Richland/alumni of MUSC) and my essay was about 94 words, which was reviewed by a Nursing Professor at USC.

I really feel like it could go either way for me, but I'm hoping it plays in my favor. I also applied to Anderson University for the second time for their ABSN. It starts in the Summer if anyone is interested. The applications are due December 15th.

Good luck to everyone!
