MUSC ABSN Spring 2015

Hi everyone!!!

I wanted to go ahead and make a thread for MUSC's Spring 2015 hopefuls. I know it is a little bit early to start this thread, but I am just so excited. I am looking forward to everyone stats and encouragement for each other. Looking forward to the results!!!

I called and no answer so then I emailed and got this response"Yes, the Admissions Committee met today - we are processing the decisions this afternoon and you will receive a letter soon. Best wishes, ". So still kind of vague as to when we will know something. Hopefully Monday!

Yes, very vague but atleast we know decisions are done. *sigh*....

Unless protocol has changed, you should be able to find out over the phone. I can't remember the name of the person I called but it wasn't Mardi. If you're feeling desperate, I'd call the admissions number. I think the secretary there has the list. I think that's the way our group did it last fall:-) Where there's a will, there's a way:-)

I just spoke to someone in the admissions department, and she said that letters will not be going out until next week Wednesday. This is not the news we were all hoping for! She also confirmed that they will not share results over the phone or by email. I cannot believe how long this keeps getting dragged out!

Just ridiculous! What's the point of keeping everyone waiting if a decision has already been made? What's the harm in that? Yeah...I'm disappointed too because I worked up the courage to call and then I'm told they can't say anything yet lol.

I wasn't even told a specific day that letters were going out so I'm not too sure. They just said "next week letters will go out". So someone found out that they said letters will go out on Wednesday?? We'll see if they hold true to that lol.

When I called the main number for admissions on Friday the woman told me that the results were being processed and that letters will be mailed out on Wednesday. However, I think it's worth giving Mardi a call and try!

I should clarify that I'm not planning to call since I just checked in with her last week. Hoping someone else is due for a call and will let the rest of us know! Also, for those who still have access to those reports, has there been any change?

Yeah, I checked this morning and they haven't updated it since Friday, Oct 17 at 3:42 am. But nothing has changed since I posted the screen shot last time...they still have the 2 out of staters pending...9 in state priority and 5 out of state priority have accepted. 1 declined. No more movement...yet.

Ok so Mardi Long told me they aren't giving out information on the phone any longer... we must wait for mail :/ ahhhhhhhh!!
