Hi everyone!!!

I wanted to go ahead and make a thread for MUSC's Spring 2015 hopefuls. I know it is a little bit early to start this thread, but I am just so excited. I am looking forward to everyone stats and encouragement for each other. Looking forward to the results!!!

I have a BS in Biology. But a previous degree is not a requirement!

Hi Everyone! I'm also playing the "waiting game" as I've applied for the Spring 2015 class (out-of-state). Fingers crossed we all find out soon! I have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing with a 3.3 GPA, and a 4.0 for my science prerequisites. I volunteered at the Texas Children's Hospital back in 2011 so I'm hoping that "checks the box" but worried it's too long ago or not enough hours. Has anyone found out what their GPA is based on MUSC's calculation? I graduated with a 3.3 for my Marketing degree, but do they use that graduating GPA or sort through the classes I took and gather only the classes/grades they need? Good luck to everyone!

I have been told that they count all grades for all college coursework. Even if you have retaken classes they count both grades.

I spoke with the admissions specialist and I believe they count your entire coursework. They separate it into three different GPAs the cumulative, the science, and the prereq GPAs.
