Has anyone ever instructed you to just step away from the coffee pot? Have you been told your blood type is espresso roast? If so, you might be a coffee junkie. What jittery coffee blunders have you made?

I drink too much coffee - about 32-40oz per day. ? And that's just in a 3-hour window!

No coffee, something falls, breaks, spills etc! The coffee keeps me in a straight line ! One BID! Sometimes TID---straight up black at work!

I could never have survived working  nights without huge amounts of coffee. I used to drink a full pot all by myself throughout the shift. And I drank it strong and black (I still do)—none of that wimpy medium roast for me. It’s like drinking coffee-flavored hot water!
Even at home, where we have a Keurig, the family all use the medium coffee pods while I buy my own Italian or French roast. It lasts me a long time when I buy it in bulk because NOBODY wants to touch it.

Now, I no longer swill coffee like water because I’m at home and don’t have all the pressure of my former work life making me moody and anxious. Strangely, coffee revs me up but also calms me. I have to drink it when I first get up in the morning or I’ll get a headache; I have been known to come out of anesthesia begging for coffee because I hadn’t had any prior to surgery. Haha!
