Muhlenberg School of Nursing- How long did you wait?

So I have my app in and my TEAS scores just came back yesterday. I applied for the fall of 2011 term to start the accelerated program in January 2012.

My question is: how long does this school normally take to get back to people? I have tried looking around at different threads but I have not found a recent one with a similar question/answer.

Separate question: who else here applied for Muhlenberg and how did you guys do on the TEAS? I scored in the 90% percentile of higher for reading, math, and english lang, but only in the 86th percentile for critical thinking (had to take that one cold; didn't seem to be any study material for it).

I applied to the Ultrasound Program to Muhlenberg and I took the TEAS on April 29, 2011, and I got my acceptance letter on wednesday :). SO your letters should be arriving soon!

LEE17 - I attend MCC and have had no problems. Since you were accepted to both I would base my decision on what courses I need to complete, how far the school is from your home, tuition fees, and how long the program is. In the end we all take the same NCLEX test so those are my suggestions and take it from there. Good luck in your decision!

I still haven't recieved any news.... My application is held up because one of the schools I attended years ago closed down - massage therapy - so my eval is delayed. I sent a letter to the school to evaluate my file without it.... I am crossing my fingers. This Friday I have to take the TEAS with MHSON..... July 11 is with PCCC, and HESI I am waiting for an appt with Bergen. I just want in already!!

Hello all! I am applying for their 1 yr accelerated program. What do you need to score on the TEAS? Do they look at your adjusted individual school, or your precentile?

Hey everyone. I applied for the muhlenberg accelerated track. I received an acceptance letter YAY!!! :yeah:but on my evalution check off sheet it says generic track..and im not sure if that means that i was not accepted in to the accelerated curriculum. Has anyone been accepted to accelerated track for jan 2012?

I think, if I am not mistaken, if you apply for the accelerated program and you don't get in, they automatically place you in the generic. But I would double check with them. Good luck!

I received a letter yesterday saying I was accepted as well. I applied to the accelerated but my check off sheet says generic too. I am taking two classes that I needed, but they didn't accept my humanities, which I cant understand why they were transferrable and english 2.

@sdeme1229: Did you finish all of your pre-reqs. Did you contact them to see whether you were in the accelerated or accelerated eligible. I want to do the accelerated. I am going to talk to them about my humanities, and if I can take them in the winter I would. But I don't know if I would still be accelerated eligible since I got the generic check off sheet.

Thanks for the reply Ceeed123. Hi Tinamarie176, They did not accept some of my pre req's too, so I need to reach out to them in regards to that. You may have not been accepted into the accelerated route because of your teas v scores. Give them a call as soon as you can. They didnt accept sociology or psych so i wll be giving them a call in regards to that.
