  1. Ceeed123: here is the link for their TEAS V score info... http://www.muhlenbergschools.org/teas.asp I just took the test a few weeks ago so if you need any tips - let me know!
  2. Hello, I found this when I was studying for the TEAS V and it helped me focus on certain areas - http://www.trctc.commnet.edu/Div_StudentServices/admissions/documents/TEAS-Vsummarypacket.pdf Starting on page 2 it breaks down each section with a list of topics you should familiarize yourself with, and trust me they are dead on! The ATI studyguide does go into detail but there you should use your A&P textbook to elaborate on the details. Like most people said already, the science section is the most screwy. It goes from high school bio to college chem and a&p. Math is OK, just brush up on algebra. Reading was pretty basic, (types of writing, themes, topics, main ideas,) English & Language use can be tricky - cover topics like subject-verb agreement questions, complex and simple sentences. Sounds easy but after the science section I was a little flustered!! Definitely get the guide!! Good luck you'll be fine! :)
  3. Im pretty sure you have to wait a year.
  4. Hey i knowthis is a little late, but in case you are still wondering, the campus itself is actually really nice. its gated, has a private parking deck, and is fairly large considering it is in the middle of Jersey City. The surrounding area, however, is less attractive! If you want more detail abt the area or have specific questions let me know!
  5. Hello! I just applied to Pace University's CDP program starting in fall 11. Ive read some pretty negative things on this website about the program but most of the posts were from 2010 and earlier. I was wondering if anyone is currently enrolled in the NYC cdp program and if so, what is your experience like? Please help!!
  6. Hi i just took the HESI A2 on saturday and it wasnt too bad. The vocab section is actually pretty easy. Actually thats one section that the guide was helpful for. It is basic medical terminology. The guide and just brushing up on your basic A&P terminology will help you. I would say that A&P is the hardest section. The guide doesnt really go into depth and the test does! I am just starting my A&P II class now so maybe thats why it was the most difficult section for me. But I scored 95 and above in all other sections so it evened out. Also study basic Bio. including genetics, topics like alleles, punnett sqaures, heterozygous and homozygous, and also cell organelles and their functions. You have 4 hours to complete the test so pace yourself, its MORE than enough time. I finished in 3 hrs. Hope that helps. As for other programs, in NJ: Rutgers - summer start UMDNJ Fall and Summer but you have to have all your pre-reqs complete BEFORE applying Felician - summer start (deadline passed i think) Seton Hall - ABSN is only at their south jersey campus though. Their is a program through JFK Hospital's school at Muhlenberg. I dont know much about it though. And then theres a bunch in NY, the few I know are: NYU Columbia Concordia CUNY hunter Binghamton but there are a bunch more in NY. Good luck!
