Hi Everyone!! Just starting a thread for Mt SAC ADN Spring 2023.

Welcome!! This thread is for all those prospective students who have applied for Mt San Antonio College's ADN program for Spring of 2023.  It'll be great to get to know each other a bit before January, so feel free to tell a little bit about yourself.  Also, please ask any questions you have. Let's help each other out as we all hope to get in the program this Spring!!

I got an acceptance too! Congratulations to those who made it and to those who are alternates don’t give up hope!❤️ There is still very much a possibility of getting in and my fingers are crossed for all of you!

I saw that you need to reply to keep your spot, does anyone know if we’re supposed to get a response after sending that email to keep our spot? I sent my response yesterday but didn’t get a response so I’m confused?

Yess ! For alternates do not lose hope! Literally in my cohort all our alternates got in!!

Hi, do you know how the waitlist process goes? Do they update waitlisted people in real time as some people decline or are they gonna wait for the deadline first? Because no one from the department is replying even after confirming your status.

I’m not too sure! But I know that all alternates still have to go to orientation! A lot of the times, people don’t attend, so those are already spots that are opened. So let’s say 5 people who were accepted don’t attend, then they would choose the first 5 alternates with the next highest points. So all alternates are ranked depending on how many points you have if that makes sense. 
Most of the times, all alternates are accepted or more than half!

Congratulations on getting in! ?

I think a girl who already completed or is about to finish the first semester of nursing school at Mt. SAC responded earlier in the threat and explained how it works?

If I remember correctly she said 1st half of the semester is: 

Mon: Theory from 7-4

Tues & Wed: Lab from 6:30-3:30

Thurs: Pharmacology from 7:30-10:30 

and second half the semester is the same Monday and Thursday but then you get to pick your clinical day and have the option of picking Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday. 
I’m not 100% sure if I’m remembering what she said correctly but it should be in the thread somewhere! I’m assuming clinical days are either 6-3 or 6-6?
