Hi Everyone!! Just starting a thread for Mt SAC ADN Spring 2023.
Welcome!! This thread is for all those prospective students who have applied for Mt San Antonio College's ADN program for Spring of 2023. It'll be great to get to know each other a bit before January, so feel free to tell a little bit about yourself. Also, please ask any questions you have. Let's help each other out as we all hope to get in the program this Spring!!
Hello!
Can someone clarify something for me? If we got an email for a counseling appointment, does that mean we are in the program? I have not seen a counselor yet because I am waiting for my official transcripts to come in via mail. My appointment is on November 1st for I don't know what to expect yet.

Hello! My understanding is after we have our counseling appts if everything pans out the Nursing administration will add our total points from TEAS score to our total merit points and the top 60 scoring candidates will then be admitted into the program. Others will be considered alternates.
Hello!! RenD is correct. I was told the same thing yesterday at my counseling appointment as well. So, it appears if you made the counseling appointment, you are not necessarily in. I was told about 100 people have made it to the counseling appointment, so it appears they expect to lose a few people at the counseling appointment for not representing their coursework correctly.
We'll all just have to wait until end of November when orientation invites go out! ? UGH!!
Hi guys, I just finished my counseling appointment. The person I spoke to said that there were 91 applicants that got through the TEAS phase. I have 81 points and he said I was in the top 20 applicants, so expect a call from the nursing department some time in November. Hopefully this information helps to ease those in the low 80s range!

Are you 81 after the TEAS?

How many points did everyone end up applying with? Including the points from the TEAS.
