Hi Everyone!! Just starting a thread for Mt SAC ADN Spring 2023.

Welcome!! This thread is for all those prospective students who have applied for Mt San Antonio College's ADN program for Spring of 2023.  It'll be great to get to know each other a bit before January, so feel free to tell a little bit about yourself.  Also, please ask any questions you have. Let's help each other out as we all hope to get in the program this Spring!!

Just curious if anyone knows someone who was accepted into the program with less than 70 points?

What did orientation consist of?

I went through the previous cohort ( Spring 2023 )

"Attention Spring 2023 Accepted and Alternate Candidates: 

Orientation is scheduled for January 10, 11, 12, 2023. Since this is a mandatory orientation, you are required to attend each day from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and will receive an orientation schedule on the first day. Please arrive early and report to Building 67A, Room 206/216 at 7:50 am on the first day as we will begin promptly at 8:00 am.“

 

here's a math packet ( most likely the same one that will be used for your cohort )

I highly recommend looking through it, familiarize yourself

because it will help you with easing through N1A

for us it was mon-thurs 

mon theory 

tues/wed skill

thur pharm. again, unsure if it will be the same for your cohort.

In orientation, from what I remember 

they will just go over basic info. 
what's expected type stuff.

Ohhhh okay.

So the physical, background check, and drug testing isn't done until the semester starts? I assumed since orientation is so long that we would be doing it then.

 drug testing done with physical with a deadline that's like 2 months into the program. 
Recommend obtaining your childhood immunization records. 
background I believe is done on a website

They'll also go over what books would be needed 

how to navigate the ATI website for assignments and such

where to buy uniforms ( range around <150 I think )
