Hello future nursing students! Is anyone applying to the Nursing Program this year 2017? What scores did you all place on the Hesi exam? I personally haven't taken the Hesi exam, but I do have my exam date next month (February 2017).
Thats awsome, good luck!Regarding the A&P, would you say that the questions were similar in terms of difficulty to the official HESI practice tests?
what would I bring besides ID and pencil?
Hi,
Thank you! Regarding the A&P they are similar to the practice test, but they are not the same. I had a mixture of both A&P questions.
You would also just bring the official printout of the confirmation they email you.
Also what's the time / #questions for each section? I'm not too familiar with the HESIThanks
Hi HAMSAMICH,
That I remembered their were 55 questions each section and approximately 3-4 hrs that were given for the whole exam. So if you finished A&P earlier than that time is rolled over to the next section.
I took the HESI at a Prometric testing center. It went well, except for the fact that I got logged out during the test! I ended up getting a 94% overall, so I am really happy about that.
Hi,
Wow! congratulations! that is a very good score! I didn't know that the Prometric testing center offered the Hesi exam. By any chance do you know where I can take the ATI TEAS exam?? I'm also trying to submit my applications in other schools, but I they no longer have testing dates available. Are you only applying to Mt. Sac?
I'm applying with 76 points, not sure if it's enough. The cut off points for spring was 77:smokin:
I applied with 70 points:unsure: At this point I am just hoping I get in but if not, I am meanwhile taking a few other classes I need for other nursing schools just in case. I am applying to other schools but it looks like I might have just missed most of their deadlines. Did you applied anywhere else?
I wish you the best and I wouldn't worry much since I heard from a friend that is currently in the program that the cut off was at 75 last semester, but it does depend on the application pool. Good luck to all of us!

Really? That is a bit strange. I simply contacted Elsevier and asked them to email my results to Mt Sac. I better call and make sure they got my scores!
