Good evening everyone.
My name is Nicole. I made this forum to connect with potential Mt Sac nursing students who may be applying for Spring 2018 admission. I'm am applying and wanted to see everyone's status, and maybe gain some insight on what is to come. I have not taken my HESI yet; I am taking it August 17th. I am also working on finishing up a summer class to know where my gpa stands for points on the multi criteria. I am between 76 and 83 points depending on my HESI score, gpa, and work experience. Not sure what the cutt off will be for the Spring 2018 semester, but I'm hoping I will have enough points. Hope everyone is having an awesome night. Hope to hear from future students.
So is anyone else going crazy with all this waiting? Anyways, I am looking at taking a class during winter session and I was debating between Statistics 110 and Medical Terminology. Has anyone taken either class? Any recommendations on teachers?
I know people who have taken terminology and they say it's helpful to understand those strange words. It's not hard. I have taken MATH110, it's hard. I don't recommend you take it in winter. But I will take terminology and sochiology or either one in winter.

Thanks for your input. I have a feeling that Math110 won't be great but I was looking up the Jump Start program with Fullerton and I guess if you get into MT.Sac's nursing program , you can start taking summer nursing courses at Fullerton to work on your Bachelors. I just need to get my Math110 get into the Nursing program at Mt. Sac and then I can apply. I also think that taking Medical Terminology would be super helpful. I am up in the air but I guess I have a little bit of time before I have to decide.

Good luck to that! If that's the only one you need, take it and I think you can do it. It just needs time.
Hey Kym,
Yep, I'm really feeling it too. Fortunately I have a lot of other stuff going on right now to keep me busy in the mean time. I have a friend who took the terminology class, I remember her carrying around what looked like "1000" flash cards... If I were you, I would take stats since your going to need it to complete you BSN.
PS I'm hoping to do CSFullertons bridge program as well and I can't wait to get started...
Best of luck to everyone unless you got like 90 points, in that case I'm gonna reserve my best wishes for those who need it...
PS They're about to start another CNA program through adult ed if your interested...

Thank you! Do you happen to know the lowest number to get in last round after all the alternates were chosen? I know fall 2016 was 74
