Hi everyone, just wanted to check in with students that will be applying next month for the Mt. Sac ADN program for Fall 2021. Freaking out a little bit as this is my first round of nursing applications, and would love to find other people that feel my pain.
If I calculated correctly and they accept everything, I should have around 85 points. I saw in previous Mt. Sac threads that the cut off is around 77/78, which makes me feel slightly better.
How are you feeling? What are your scores, and have you applied before?
Are you planning on taking the TEAS/HESI before or after applications?
Has anyone heard anything about the Mt. Sac program?
I would re check your email they sent me one yesterday saying they will be sending me the link for the information meeting I think they only take 50 students as of now.

I would reach out to them about that because it had that before COVID was even a thing so I think that's why it's there now
I am preparing my application to submit, (gathering all my needed documents. ) As far as the point for 2 college semesters of a language, do we just add the part of the college transcript with the grade from the classes and highlight it? I feel like I am over thinking these documents.
does anyone know if you can include all the information in a letter head letter from your supervisor, as in work experience, having to work while taking pre reqs and also including that I am an interpreter at work? I am nervous not to turn in the documents correctly

I'm not sure, but what I did was asked my supervisor to make me a letter for work experience and separate letter as proof that I read, write, and speak foreign language. I also just submitted one of my paycheck from November 2020 since I was taking my last pre-requisite class at that time.
For those of you who already submitted the application, can you PLEASE shed some light on the transcript submission part.
Do we need to upload unofficial or official transcripts? Or do we request for them to be sent to a specific department?
I’m sure I’m overthinking it, I just don’t want to mess this up ???

Upload your UNOFFICIAL transcript in the application. Make sure you also sent your official transcript from your school to the admission and records department.
Sorry for this question but, I’ve done all my pre reqs at mt. Sac , so do I still ask for electronic official transcripts??? I logged on to try and it won’t let me request them to send to Mt. Sac. So confusing. I emailed the counselors from the zoom meeting the other day and no response. Please if anyone can help!
