Hi everyone, just wanted to check in with students that will be applying next month for the Mt. Sac ADN program for Fall 2021. Freaking out a little bit as this is my first round of nursing applications, and would love to find other people that feel my pain.
If I calculated correctly and they accept everything, I should have around 85 points. I saw in previous Mt. Sac threads that the cut off is around 77/78, which makes me feel slightly better.
How are you feeling? What are your scores, and have you applied before?
Are you planning on taking the TEAS/HESI before or after applications?
Has anyone heard anything about the Mt. Sac program?
Thanks in advance!

I am using the elsevier HESI reviewer and the mometrix book. I am really hoping that I get in because I only applied at Mt. SAC :)

I'm sure you'll get in! I was an alternate this past one and the counselor said this semester since the point system changed, it will change from previous semester cut offs as well. Im sure anything in the 80's is a forsure guarantee in tho ?

Yes hopefully! ??Let's keep each other updated here! Good luck again ?
Hi guys,
I'm so glad someone created this forum to keep up with all of us applying to the program. I attended the nursing application workshop and it was nice to be able to hear some questions answered. For those of you asking how many are accepted per application period they mentioned 60 students are accepted and 20 are placed in the alternative list. Students with 75 points and above are pretty much in. 70-75 will be placed in the alternative list. Of course this were previous acceptance points so this semester things are a bit different since they changed the muilti-criteria point system. The students who are selected for a counseling appointment to verify their paperwork will then be called from March 15-April 15. I am personally super scared of not getting in. I have been attending Mt. Sac FOREVER and I just want to be done haha. I am very nervous because I am applying with 70 points and I'm hoping to get accepted at Mt. Sac. ?

Thanks. What do they mean by bringing our official sealed transcripts for review to the counseling appointment? I thought we just mail them to admissions and records.
@mango_girl What they mean by that is that all your official transcripts have to be submitted and reviewed by admissions. That needs to be done before you get the appointment with the counselor.
Hi I am a first time student at Mt Sac I am planning to apply I to the program. Moving back to CA from MS. I completed my AA in all my general studies and got my associates degree. I also worked as a Medical Assistant and have CNA experience of 4 years. I completed a CNA a Ute care program in Rio Hondo but since I moved couldn’t re instate my lisence. I’m nervous this will be my first round of applications I will be sending out. I spoke to the department today and they said I don’t need to take the HESI unless I’m accepted. So nervous ?
